2. The short version
- There is no account and no sign-in. We never ask for your name, email or phone number.
- Your progress (coins, best score, best level, power-ups and settings) is stored only on your device.
- The game shows ads from Google AdMob. Google collects some device data to show and measure ads, as explained below. In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland you are asked for consent first.
- We do not sell your data, and we do not receive personal data from Google.
3. Data stored on your device
The game saves your coins, best score, best level, power-ups, number of games played and your sound and vibration settings in the app's local storage on your phone. This data never leaves your device and is not sent to us. It is deleted when you clear the app's data or uninstall the game.
4. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The game is free and shows banner ads, full-screen ads between games and optional reward videos (for coins, power-ups or a revive). These ads are served by Google AdMob, provided by Google Ireland Limited (in the EEA, UK and Switzerland) and Google LLC (elsewhere).
To show ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK in the game may collect:
- your device's advertising ID and app set ID;
- your IP address, from which an approximate location (country or city) may be derived;
- device and app information, such as phone model, Android version, language and app version;
- how you interact with ads (views, clicks, rewards earned) and diagnostic data about ad performance.
Google uses this data to deliver, measure and limit the frequency of ads, to prevent fraud and abuse and, where you allow it, to personalise ads. Google processes this data under its own responsibility, as described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.
5. Your consent and choices
- In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, the game shows Google's consent message the first time you open it. You can accept or refuse personalised ads. If you refuse, you still see ads, but they are not based on your interests.
- You can change your choice at any time with the Privacy & ad settings button on the game's start screen or in the pause menu.
- On Android you can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone's settings (usually Settings › Privacy › Ads or Settings › Google › Ads).
- Reward videos are always optional.
6. Legal basis
Where the law requires it (for example for personalised ads and for storing or reading information on your device), ads rely on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. Showing non-personalised ads to keep the game free, and preventing fraud, rely on our legitimate interest. Data stored only on your device is needed for the game to work.
7. International transfers
Google may process data outside the European Economic Area. Google relies on safeguards approved by the European Commission, such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses.
8. How long data is kept
Game data stays on your device until you delete it. Data collected by Google for advertising is kept according to Google's own retention policies. We do not keep any personal data ourselves.
9. Children
Pomona Drop is meant for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data through the game, please contact us.
10. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, the right to data portability and the right to withdraw consent at any time. As we do not hold personal data about you, requests about advertising data are best sent to Google, but you can always write to us and we will help. You can also lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority, CNPD — Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados, or with the authority of the country where you live.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Important changes will also be shown in the game.
